Bristol Balloon Festival -

I dragged my hubby out of bed at 6am to see the early morning
lift off.
It was a good 40 mins walk along the river to Aston Court
but luckily under the flight path of the balloons which were
taking off. 104 balloons went up in the morning .

We picked up a few more gromits on the way back to the hotel
and stopped outside Aardman Studios for a quick peak in the
windows which all had old props in them.

We wandered back to the site for the afternoon and saw the next
lift off close up , it looked chaos as another 80 balloons inflated in
the arena and took off , to finish the night they inflated and lit
up the balloons to music.

Another great day and all for free , with is a pleasant change
nowadays
