Sunset over the Solent

Drove down to Southampton yesterday…… pretty busy, had a half hour break at Warwick, left home at 9.30 & arrived at 2.30.
Unloaded the car, then drove straight to the body shop owned by E & S’s son in law. A has kindly agreed to sort out my bumper which got scuffed with a dumper truck at home :-/

Slept well last night, spoke to C then went off to sleep for the best part of 9 hours….. think I must have been tired;-)

Me & E went over town on the bus mid morning, spent a couple of hours looking around the shops, nice coffee & sandwich in Mettricks in the Bargate before bus back again…… then we sat out on the patio in the lovely warm sunshine for a couple of hours.

Tasty chicken chasseur for dinner, quickly grabbed my blip as the sun was disappearing over the back, which overlooks the river, then a lazy evening in front of the tv…… just what i needed, some downtime :-)))
