Green Eyed

I think the female must already be nesting somewhere because Mr Mallard was cruising around on his own. I thought I saw them in the wetland last week, maybe that's where she is holed up.

Green eyed, maybe, but not a monster. I find I have to lighten the head and neck of mallards, which otherwise looked black. Instead a vibrant green!
