Trip
The train halted for a few minutes so that police could remove a trouble maker. Otherwise my outward journey was uneventful.
A migraine headache slightly spoiled my day but I enjoyed stretching out on my back in the tall, dry grass, admiring the view of grass, mountains and sky. My old phone pics don't do justice to the scenery
As I left to go home, I saw the white horse. From the top of the hill I saw him looking at me, attentively, ears moving.
As I picked some fresh grass for him, he watched my every step, but as I came closer, he moved away, pretending that he hadn't seen me at all. When I reached him, I had to coax him to come to me. I'm falling in love with him.
Around the bend in the road came the terrible twins, jumping up all over me until I had to tell them to stop and go home.
The return journey was enjoyable. There were mostly youngsters going to school. On the whole people are surprisingly polite and kind, relaxed and apparently happy. There was a great deal of smiling going on. Perhaps that is the effect of public transport. It doesn't seem to be the case for drivers, where road rage seems to dominate these days.
I enjoy observing people.
In the afternoon Lorenzo Musetti won his tennis match. I didn't watch it live as S asked me to help him do a little job on the boat.
