2025 Wednesday — Adventure
Our day started with getting Mitzi to the Veterinarian office by 8:00 because she is once again having surgery to remove some of the warts on her body that have turned troublesome.
Then we pointed our vehicle south and headed for Santa Maria with my accordion because we have learned there is an expert accordion man there who can determine what my accordion needs to repair and restore it. We learned of this man from two different music stores, one in Santa Maria and one near us in Morro Bay. We were thankful that Jose the accordion man has a 22 year old grandson who speaks English and could translate for all of us.
When we exited Santa Maria our next stop was in Nipomo to meet a couple who are selling their piano because they soon will be moving to San Francisco and they are not sure if their next home will have room for their current piano. So our few minutes with Jason & Allison were very pleasant.
Then we rode thru the country on California's Highway #1 as it wound thru Oceano, Grover Beach, Pismo Beach, and Shell Beach before taking the on-ramp onto the 101 Freeway to San Luis Obispo and then veering West as Highway #1 headed to the coast and where we live.
Little Mitzi was released with four small incisions on her body and a good report from her Veterinarian at 12:30.
From Cayucos on
California's Central Coast,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi too!
