Towards the Light
I had an urge for some bluebell photography, but it's still a bit early in the season. Nevertheless, I headed over to Winkworth Arboretum for lunch and a wander to see what I could find.
There were patches of bluebells throughout the site, though the previous best location has been off limits for a number of years and sadly remains so. There were no carpets of blue, and they probably need another week or so to reach their peak. Still I had no end of opportunities to try out the variable spherical aberration control on my macro lens to adjust bokeh, and generally attempt some "fine art" photos of the bluebells around.
It was a good day, provided you ignore the miserable supermarket experience on the way home :-(
