Stirling (not the real one)...
....a particularly lazy start after last night's ceilidh. Strong coffee and toast with marmalade provided the necessary neurological, digestive and cardiovascular adjustments, then we were on our way.
Public transport to the coast and the 'City of Stirling' with its locally famous Scarborough Beach. The thing is they don't have a shark net, so I sat as far back as possible from the kill zone and watched people get lucky this time. We also watched the sun go down in The Esplanade Bar, most pleasent.
We rounded out the day with a visit to Subiaco Night Market. Lots of food vans with long queues selling food you never knew you wanted for $30. All part of the experience.
Anyway, we're decamping tomorrow to Fremantle. It's a port and the vibe is distinctly Leithy, It's also home to the 'wee team' locally. I'm delighted to report the wee team here is doing rather well against the 'big team'....curious.
