Oiling old timbers

It’s spring and the church building has been getting some attention. There is a team of four plus a dog here treating the old porch(Victorian?) timbers to some nourishing oil. The workers have a high set of steps and a small scaffold tower to help them. The oiling has highlighted some beautiful carving of acorns and oak leaves.

I tested the PowerPoint again in the church this morning and all was well.

I also had an exploratory play on the church organ. The cleaning team were quite pleased in spite of all the wrong notes…
