Forth & Clyde Canal

Some catch up blips today . We had a wonderful walk from the West End to the canal tow path and on to the basin a Spiers Wharf. We found a splendid wee cafe on the canal bank and enjoyed a stop there.

 It was a multi cultural community cafe called Gathering Ground and had a very nice supportive  ethos . We had lovely coffee and I browsed through a heart rending book of poetry written by adults and children in Gaza.  . They were selling a lot of Palestinian foods and crafts .
