Saturday
Natalie, Tessa and I had a trip to the nearby town of Marlborough.
We browsed the charity shops and pre loved clothes shops.
The most expensive item I saw was a £500 brown denim Chanel blazer and it wasn't even lined! And it looked well worn.
We chatted, for ages, to one of the trustees of St Peter church. It's right at the bottom end of Marlborough and closed as a place of worship in 1974. Plans for it's demolition, in favour of a roundabout, were discussed!! It's been there since the 1400s. Anyway, an event venue now and it's where we had a coffee.
Marlborough college school has many celeb children pupils. There was an excited young woman in one shop as a celebrity was in there. I hadn't a clue who they were.
We had a lunch and came home.
I looked on my mobile for a photo but they weren't very interesting so here's Hetty sleeping off her late night.
