The Blue Sheep

Despite not going to sleep until after 10 last night the wee one was still awake shortly after 7am…thank goodness for BST or it would’ve been even earlier! Once up and dressed we headed to a coffee morning in the village hall…we managed to win an Easter egg and I bought the sheep and the chick which did both contain Creme eggs, though the chick didn’t keep its for very long. Cake may also have been consumed! After we’d dumped our wares back home we headed to the park to work off his sugar rush! Home for lunch in the garden whilst the sun was shining…it didn’t last very long and it’s been a mostly grey afternoon. Car washing and plant watering followed, he kept telling me he was tired and I hoped he’d have a nap but apparently he wasn’t that tired! Some tv, a pizza and games filled the rest of the afternoon…along with lots of cuddles, tickling and clapping. Dad took him to the other grandparents about 5pm…I’m enjoying some peace and quiet now before I watch Ballet Shoes on Prime.

Extra…pirates were encountered at the park!
