First Day

Their first day as home owners, a little mid-terrace in Guiseley. It's not been easy. They've finally moved in and I visited within a few hours, managing to avoid any of the heavy shifting. Roam and Shenny are very excited. They'd outgrown their little rental one-up, one-down many months ago and this house is perfect for them. The dogs love it too. They've got space to run around and even a garden.

At the end of a hard week I found time for a run out along the Dick Hudson's path, the first time since there's been work done on it. Earlier this year I abandoned because it was a mudbath. Now it's a road and a real scar across the southern side of the moor. I couldn't believe it when I found all the flagstones at the bottom end had been dug up. It's nothing short of vandalism. I can only imagine it's about better access for the shooting, which is sickening in itself.
