Split teasel

Sis and l visited a friend of hers. We then took the opportunity to go to a local nature reserve. Saw a few butterflies ( peacock butterfly in extras), brimstones and orange tips (wouldn’t stop for a photo op!!). Also spotted another chiffchaff(also in extras) My main shot though, is of a teasel which has split. Liked the detail , but also never seen one split before.
