Fab Basin bob

The weather was perfect for us to enjoy a fabulous Basin bob. I met up with M and MLaM. We managed a swim to the buoy just beyond the second beach hut.  Setting ourselves small achievable goals on the way really helped. Maybe a lesson in life, we reflected afterwards  .... Afterwards. it was so good to sit on the sea wall and look at the view and chat to these lovely ladies.

B and I had tickets for a Candlelight Country Concert. There were several folk wearing cowboy hats (see extra) and more young people in the audience than we had imagined. Songs by Taylor Swift and Dolly Parton were amongst the tunes covered. We had a lovely time, with some singing and dancing before the evening ended.
