My own Perseid Meteor Shower

I went outside early this morning to look at the skies for the Perseid meteor shower and its 'shooting stars'. Danged if it isn't clouded over this morning.

So I came inside, determined to try again tomorrow, and to find my own shooting stars.

This photo is of our YMCA Indian Guides Tribe, the Cherokee. We each had to pick a Native American name. My father was Big Shooting Star. I chose Little Shooting Star.

And here we are!
