Summer is back...

...if only for a day. It seems the weather forecast was right, and the rain-free day of sunshine which was promised materialised. despite looking a little bit grey and cloudy around 11-11.30am-ish. As such, we were able to have our BBQ without having to duck for cover in the house, and, as the afternoon progressed, it actually brightened up enough for me to get a little sunburnt.

What with Debbie and her friend both being pregnant, her other friends decided to stick to the soft drinks & drive, allowing the men-folk a rare opportunity to get stuck in to the beer.

Everyone is away home now, and all the tidying up is done, so I think I shall go for a well deserved rest on the bed and have a read of the Guardian. Hope everyone is having a good weekend! Make use of the sunshine while it lasts!
