Saturday Sunrise Silhouettes
Again I woke up at 6:30 this morning, so I brushed, dressed, keyed up, and made it for the sunrise. It was just me and my Jamaican friend Paul. He is a worker AND he gets up early. Several egrets and herons were there to pose.
I stayed at the first place for quite a while, and then stopped at place #2...where there were no birds. But, at spot #3, THE MANATEES WERE THERE!
Like Lisa says...it's kinda like photographing huge baked potatoes, but I was still excited to see them.
I'll tell you what shooting manatees is all about,
you're lucky if you can get the big ol' snout.
After I got home and Lisa was done swimming, we went to see s-i-l Joy again in the hospital. and then I wasted the afternoon away watching the Masters golf tournament.
In my Extras are another egret silhouette, my buddy Paul on a big boat, and a manatee snout. Have a look.
