North Norfolk Marathon

I drove over to Cromer this morning for my usual Sunday walk there, and managed to get the very last parking space in the two main car parks at 9:25am. Unknown to me, it was the day of the North Norfolk marathon and half marathon. I did my normal walk up the cliff path, down to the front to walk on the beach by the beach huts, then a stroll down and round the pier. Then I found the finish line to get photos of the half marathon finish. I had a nice chat with a young lady starting out as a professional photographer, she was shadowing the independent official photographer. As I had my long lens on, the photos weren't great, so I also took a few photos of the medals being given just past the finishing line as I could stand further back. This afternoon I decided to do something about the lack of rain, so I washed my car and watered the tubs..............and within three hours we've now had 2mm of rain that wasn't forecast this morning and lightning is close by!!!
