I Wonder When It Will Split......

It is made from a bit of spalted beech which has been lying in the garage for years and has several small splits (the most noticeable of which was given some glue to play with.

The other pictures I took were of a rather nice shell we came across a couple of days ago in a box of 'stuff' (there are 6 shots ..... I rather like the one with the goofy face).

There was a trip to the charity shop when it opened and that is as far as I got today.
SWMBO on the other hand was out for afternoon tea with her 3 sisters - paid for by The Wicked Witch. I am wondering what she is after. She is not know for her generosity and forking out for a very overpriced expensive afternoon tea for 4 is definitely the precursor for a 'favour' when she is over from Spain in the not too distant future.

While SWMBO was out I moved stuff about in the garage, made some spinning tops and hung up a load of bug houses (like very small bird houses) that had been in a box in the garage.
