Mosaic on John Lewis Kingston

This morning I was in Kingston and happened to notice this mosaic on the wall of John Lewis facing the river near Kingston Bridge. I have walked or cycled past many times but have never noticed it before! On the left is one of the pleasure boats which  takes passengers on the river up to Richmond, in the middle is  the John Lewis building which was built in the 1980’s when the centre of Kingston was remodelled and on the right Hampton Court Palace which is a couple of miles down the river.
Much chillier today 10C cooler ..back to normal April weather and we had some rain showers too.

I went to have lunch at my daughters and we watched the boat races…my daughter having been to Cambridge  was pleased with the results but we were unimpressed with the coverage….they did not say what any of the rowers were studying or what colleges they were at! I’m sure they used to do this.
