New/old furniture

This is the furniture I painted. 
I bought the China cabinet/bureau about 15 years ago in a second hand furniture place in Dumfries for £10. I think it is 1930’s/40’s. It was dark wood and I painted it white, then when we moved down to Yorkshire I painted it grey and now it’s white again!
The bookcase was given to us by a neighbour here when she moved house. I think it is 1960’s. 
It was also painted grey but is now white.
Another lovely, sunny day here. 
We pottered about in the garden for a while. Frank planted out nasturtiums
And French marigolds. We’ll have to cover them if there’s a frost.
I also washed the wee lemon tree. Tiny bugs leave sticky stuff on the leaves so I looked up on line and the advice is to use water with washing up liquid and wash each leaf with a cloth. I then took some soil out and replaced it with fresh compost and gave it some citrus feed. There are flowers on it so I hope there may be a lemon or two!
