Sunday: White Fence
After last night, today has been a bit of a slow day. I did take a walk up to the shops this morning to buy some supplies for our Sunday dinner - this was en route to the shops. This afternoon, we settled down with an old Garbo film, 'Ninotchka'. I had never seen it before - loved it! It had some great lines in it.
We have already heard from Gabi and Denis (see yesterday) - they have invited us to a barbecue on Wednesday evening so that should be really nice.
What else? Oh, the 'When You're A Stranger' camera - I posted it nearly two weeks ago and it still hasn't arrived at its destination. I am seriously worried that it has got lost in the post - that would be so disappointing..........Maybe a smooth transit from Croatia to South Africa was too much to hope for......keep your fingers crossed that it does turn up.

I have finished 'Among The Gently Mad' by Nicholas Basbanes, a lovely little read about book collecting. I have never been tempted to be a collector but I do love books about books so it was right up my street. I am now reading 'Balkan Express' by Slavenka Drakulic - a collection of essays written in Zagreb during the Balkans War so that should be interesting.
P.S. That chicken smell coming from the kitchen is driving me mad.
