Election day
I spent the day at a polling station in the election board. For the first time we had regional and local elections at the same time. Having two votes meant having two lists in the booths, two ballot papers to fill in, two boxes to put them in and two countings for us to do. I waited for some confusion and extra work, so it was no surprise that it took us much longer than usual to finish the counting. I was home almost 2.5 hours after the voting ended and went to bed two hours after that, still not knowing the final results even locally, as three polling stations had not finished counting by that time.
