Morning Chiff Chaff
With a nod to Hogan's much sunnier chiff chaff chappie, here's one I took on this morning's butterfly walk. The weather is on the change; the blue skies are now full of louring clouds, and rain is due at last. It is, at the moment, stubbornly refusing to drop, but give it time...
The butterflies, as you might expect, were almost entirely absent, with a single orange tip male and a speckled wood of indeterminate gender.
However, as I was completing the survey walk in the meadow section, I was astonished to see a stag and two does stalking through the oak and elm wood on the upper rise! Too astonished, of course, to get the camera up in time.
It's my third Tiny Tuesday tomorrow, with a tag of #TT516... the sub theme, if you choose, is "something rough". As usual I'll wait until Thursday before going through all the entries, and I look forward to seeing what you come up with!
