A view from Jeanneb

In the garden

A bright and breezy day so I got the washing done before this morning's singing. A fun session of singing familiar songs and then the usual shop over the moor.

Our Amaryllis had fallen over when we got home last night but we seem to have been able to revive it and prop it up. I put it near the conservatory window and liked the scene outside (thumbnail top right) of the Avalon narcissus at their best with the magnolias behind. The Soulangia has lost a lot of petals but there are still plenty of lovely blousy blooms and you can see the purple Susan to the left.

I went out to take a picture of the Avalon blooms from the other side ( lower right) and then spotted some other narcissus that I had transferred from pots to the garden. These small blooms (left) I think are Pink Lady* can’t find the label, they have a lovely delicate scent. So nice to see. Most of the daffodils and narcissi are over in the S West.

Still have church choir practice to come to prepare for our Easter singing. Hope the rain holds off for the walk up the village and back.

*Just discovered they are Bell Song seen in this blip here
