Herne Bay: Emerald Beetle

I had an engagement in Herne Bay, but was a little early so took the scenic route and spotted this cute Beetle. I could also see the plume from a huge fire in Essex (Basildon, according to the news), as well as what I think are the industrial towers (over the horizon) and London Gateway cranes (at the far left).
