Open Skies
Little Man had nursery this morning, but it was a sluggish start to the day for both of us, as neither of us really wanted to get out of bed. Safe to say that once Little Man was at nursery, he had a lovely time there. After I'd dropped him off, I called my brother, Caleb, back. He'd tried to call me earlier, on my old phone number (he does have my new one, but had forgotten to remove the old one, which he's now done), and so I was able to have a quick chat with him on a phone that actually works.
I then biked to Woerden, as per normal on a Monday, to pick up a few things and then came home. I had a phone call to make, in regards to the Little Man, which I'm now waiting for news on. I then made Little Man his lunch and went to get him. Someone had turned 4 in his little class, and had brought sweets (its a Dutch tradition, when you celebrate your birthday you bring something nice to celebrate with your class or work mates). Little Man didn't want his sandwich, and only ended up eating it, because he wouldn't have got his sweets otherwise.
When Little Man wasn't running around, getting underfoot, I was able to get some laundry done and some hoovering. Caleb has a lot on his plate at the moment and asked if I'd be able to take some clothes to the recycling point for him. It took several attempts to get the clothes sorted (as I'm keeping some of his sweaters) as Little Man had a lot of fun playing with it. It was fun to watch, so I let him.
We had dinner, spoke to my parents and then Little Man went to bed.
