Blast from the past

The record collection has been liberated from the loft and I managed to set up the new record player without breaking anything. So, after dinner, I spent a few hours going through the old records. Patti Smith was first up followed by REM.

As I haven’t bought vinyl in well over 30 years it’s been a trip down memory lane. Some real classics I still love (REM, The Smiths, Housemartins, Everything But The Girl, Roxy Music, AC/DC) and some right pish that I assume I liked at the time but can be donated to the charity shops. Just pleased the mice didn’t get at them over the past few decades.
