Desperately seeking

Pelargonium

16 years ago, when I started blipping, we weren't allowed to use borders, or any printing of any sort on our images. So much so that my daughter's blip, with a digitally drawn arrow showing where on the rocks she was when a helicopter picked her up, was removed within minutes by the staff.

After that, things eased up and we were allowed borders, as long as they didn't show on the thumbnails. I'm sure that doesn't still apply but this is the first time I've let mine show.

I needed a bright, happy blip today as I hadn't found the day easy. I drove to the city (20 miles), bought a few things we need for the lodge, had lunch at Dobbies, had coffee at Dunelm then made my way to a hospital appointment.

I had allowed plenty of time for this but, within a 5 minute walking distance of the Dermatology Department at Hilltop Heights we were faced with a road closure. I followed the detour around the back streets for 45 minutes! The traffic lights on the back streets weren't set for this volume of traffic and only let a few cars out at a time to join a main road.

Weary and sick of driving I got to my appointment. I showed the nurse how good my arms were looking, after my daughter giving me some cheap Morrison's Aqueous Cream to keep hydrating them with. The nurse was pleased and said I needn't go back unless the condition returns. The punch skin test had been negative.

One less health condition to think about! And, I got my Wordle in 2 today!
