Giant Semi-Transparent Hollyhock Terrorizes Town!

It's okay - not really - just my over-active imagination at work! I decided to do twice as much walking as my usual daily amount today and wore myself out so that might explain a few flights of fancy.

I liked the effect of the strong sunlight through the petals of this Hollyhock with the ghost of an ancient church tower in the background. I almost blipped a pic of a pair of Canada Geese on the banks of a lake, but they resolutely turned their faces away whenever I raised the camera.
