St Faith’s church, Rotorua

There has been a church on this site for 130 years. This one is European in style but the interior is richly Maori with wood carvings and flax woven panels. It’s open most days to visitors but closes at 12 noon and we didn’t get there until after it closed.
We are spending a few days in Rotorua with my daughter and her family. They have rented a house for part of the school holidays.
