Dark Eyes Fuschia

Blip #10!!! I get a camera next to my name now!!

Anyway...another rain storm led to another day of flower photography. This continued a theme from the past couple of days...(blips from July 22 and 23). These lovely flowers were hanging in front of a dark pine trunk. All I had to do was turn up the shadows tuning on Picasa, and it created this nice black background. I really like the effect it gave the flowers. The red and purple just seem to pop off of the dark background.

Tomorrow has a nice trip to Katahdin in store! Let's hope for some nice weather and some mountaintop visibility! There may be a nice landscape treat tomorrow!
