On the cusp
Another swither this morning but after a couple of minutes I did launch myself poolward. Interesting discussion with a lifeguard about pool etiquette. Part of the problem is the pool is busier in the early morning.
It was a dreich morning, damp and cloudy so I didn't do much when I got home, the usual mucking around on the laptop (payday!) before getting the bus to St Patrick Square.
My purchase made (a skein of embroidery thread), bring very early and dry I walked along The Meadows to see the cherry trees, 9 days earlier than last year. There's is certainly blossom there but I reckon the weekend will be the apex. The lack of sunshine didn't help though. I did peer over there fence but there was no sign of Lady Findhorn, though I can see she was also looking at blossom.
Then to the Lyceum for the last PPP visa the Chinese grocery. No frozen roti canai but pineapple tarts from JB, not Taiwan.
After PPP, another slightly weird ones but a good commentary on mother/child relationships I got the bus and was home by 2.35.
It wasn't warm so the heating went back on. Dropped the seed tatties off next door and had another glimpse of the wean.
Thought about doing some work on there windowsills but over decided it would be better to talk to K. He's coming round next month.
So I've gone back to stitching. Later I might clean a carpet so it dry overnight, or maybe not.
#3 soon it's still fighting with Evans Halshaw about his car. Hope it turns out ok.
