Hutton Roof

A 6km walk over varied terrain of  limestone pavements,  wooded slopes and open fields. Here I am back down in the open fields having  decided to leave the tricky rocky paths and take a shortcut to catch up with  others on a lower path. Managed to lose my map on the way. Using my compass, my phone (OS maps) and my common sense (head down hill),  I eventually found them.  Lunch in the Longlands Hotel.
