We spent most of the morning giving the garden a Spring tidy up, which required a visit to the recycling centre with the waste.

This afternoon I had my final physio session at the local hospital. My shoulder continues to improve so it’s just a case of keeping up the exercises to strengthen it further.

This milestone near the entrance to the hospital is one of several in the area (number 8 presumably) showing the distance to Wells. The bell and curved archway motif is, I guess, a reference to the famous quarter jack bell and main arches of Wells Cathedral. Not sure about the significance of the shell.
