This was taken from our 'back road' overlooking part of Workington, Solway  Firth and Robin Rigg turbines, with Scotland behind.  At one time you wouldn't have seen this as there was a steel works blocking much of the view.  Blast furnaces have long gone so no more yellow smoke/steam climbing to the sky.  What is left is the 'slang bank' and below that superstores and some industry.
