Little Garden Project

Approaching the end of this phase of our garden project.

Our friend D has spent two days erecting iron fencing and handrail on the upper level of the path that joins the patio to the rear terrace and lawn.

Where the patio is, there was once twenty tons of rock and soil. That was long months of gruelling work. D is a human earth mover, visionary, skilled artisan and a blooming hard worker.

This project is still a 'work in progress' but we can at least see now how it is coming together. 

There are other'phases' in different  parts of the property. But they are for another day.

We are all weary after two days of effort but finishing today with mountains of fish and chips, and mushy peas, and curry sauce really topped it off.

And beer. Don't forget the beer. ....
