Little Feet, Lasting Footprints

When I cycle to work I pass this cemetery, and today I took a few moment to find out more about it.

The fairly small area is owned and operated by Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital (such a coincidence given I currently work there), and it is there for people who died in the hospital who had no traceable relatives, with additional areas for infants who did. This is one of the childrens' areas.

The site is managed for a balance of wildlife and tidiness, hence the grass is cut rather than manicured.

Without the incentive of a blip, I would have ridden past and missed these moments of learning and reflection. Thank you Blipfoto, and thanks to Incredibish for hosting Tiny Tuesday.
