Little flowers

I worked in the office all day, but walked out to one of the big supermarkets all day, via the park. I’m glad I did, because it was raining when I left work to go home.The practice manager had bought us all Easter eggs, and I even had a nibble this afternoon.

I’ve just watched the penultimate episode of Mid Century Modern, and found it a bit too near the knuckle. Bunny’s mother dies suddenly of a heart attack, and the housemates reminisce after her funeral. I guess always thought my own mother would die of kidney failure or an accident resulting from her dementia, so her heart attack was a surprise. Mind you, four years into her more obvious dementia phase, hardly anything could be considered surprising. Few of us choose how we say our last goodbye.
