Painting by Marc Quinn

Went for a swim and it was unusually busy. Then a quick visit to Kingston to collect order from John Lewis.

Later I went to Sloane Square and met a friend to go to the Saatchi Gallery exhibition ..”Flowers - Flora in Contemporary Art and culture.”  A real mixture of quite traditional paintings featuring flowers and lots of much more modern ones using different techniques, plus sculptures, record sleeves through the ages that had any type of flower/ plant on them etc. very diverse and we didn’t rate some of the newer ones.

This is a 2010 oil painting by Marc Quinn…it was huge taking up a whole wall.

After we had a nice meal in a Cote restaurant.
