Who lives in a house like this?

When we moved into our house many years ago we found that some of the trees were likely to fall soon. And they did!  But we decided to pile a lot of the logs up and give any wild life a home. We never really saw much as the log pile is a long way from our house.  Now the logs are breaking up but still look interesting and maybe there are a few little creatures curled up inside!
