Telly To'or

Evening all,

Busy day today sorting hot work permits,water to ships and berth positions for ships.....busy harbour over the next few days.
This is a Martello Towers.....loads built around the world to fend off invaders. Fascinating reading if you want to know more. This one in Leith used to be out at seabut the harbour reclaimed a lot of land so thus it's landlocked. There's as much below ground as there is above,give it more time in might disappear. Locally,it was known as the Telly To'or and families used to picnic on the beach i was on yesterday, and the kids would compete to race out to the tower, either around it and back or first to swim then climb to the top.
Mini G had bloods taken to check on her potassium, results tomorrow and dietician tomorrow.
