Botanics

Not much rain during the day, not very warm. We did get some sunshine in the afternoon. 

Walked through the Botanics .. lots of rhododendrons still to come out, the late daffodils and narcissus making a fine display. Fruit tree blossom on full show. The purple in the extra is purple toothwort,  Lathraea clandestina. Tea at the Inverleith House cafe, which was busy. 

Bought some hotcross buns on the way back; they turned out to be chocolate buns, which were good but unexpected ..
