Fastnet race at Hurst castle

Me and my friend Pete Glew met up by chance cycling to Hurst castle to see the start of the Fastnet race 2013. Took my daughters light camera with powerful zoom with me. These two monohulls are quite interesting: the distant Hugo Boss one has set up the fastest trans Atlantic single handed crossing last year, with skipper Alex Thomson (8 days 22hours), amazing when you think the yacht is about 60 ft long. The other one, Maitre CoQ is no slough either (skipperd by Jeremie Beyou), I think they have won the Fastnet before and they are preparing for the Transat Jacques Vabre race later this year. All in all, I've had a very busy, sporty and satisfying weekend - what I'm most happy about is that I'm back on the bike and getting much better re my back problems.
