Day off from everything...

...that began with a lazy lie in, followed by popping over to Mum n' Dad's for the afternoon to catch up with them. Amongst several frothy coffees they showed me a new picture they had bought from Dunelm and I helped them hang it up behind their bed. Dad joked that they may put their pillows at the foot of the bed now & lie the other way so they can see it ;-D

 After six I could see that eldest was getting stressy. She is coming up quickly to the end of Uni and had been sat at the dining table most of the day. Mentioning I needed some supplies from a DIY store and asking if she fancied a ride out, she asked if we could have a Crackdonald's too for tea...of course we could. Am not a fan tbh but their Plantburgers aren't that bad & Cappuchoochoos perfectly reliable and we enjoyed some time out.

Asking if she wanted to ride home the long way and maybe catch the sunset she replied "Of course!" so off we bimbled, exploring a part of Old Glossop not seen before, then heading over to Hadfield, New Mills, Shiloh Rd, Compstall, and finally over Werneth Low via Romiley.

Extra is her pic along Shiloh Rd. Out of shot in the field to the left was a Scarecrow some 200yds away and it was quite creepy so we didn't linger there for long!
