A Snail

Such a change in the weather today - there was some rain overnight - enough to create a few small puddles! It was really cool outside (again) …temperature in single figures.

Walking though the village I almost stepped on this bright snail. Fortunately it was on the top of a flight of steps so I was able to get down quite low, without too much bending, to get a photo of it.

It was moving surprisingly fast - in the end I had to use some flash to ‘freeze’ its movement! I had quite a few ‘blurry’ shots.

Not sure what sort it is - maybe a ‘white lipped’!
