A Meandering Life...

Field of Gold

I spotted this field some miles off. It shone in its own sunlight whilst everywhere else was under a shadow of gloom from the approaching rain. I couldn't stop where I spotted it plus my phone would not have done the shot justice.

I meandered along the country lanes until I found it. I so wanted the distant North York Moors to be in the background and luckily enough they were.

I took a pano at 5x zoom and also a couple of AvgCamPro shots, also panning. This image has a 16:9 crop from the pano for the base and I used some of the AvgCamPro image to overlay the majority of the yellow rapeseed.

I think this gives a good feel of the mixed weather we are experiencing at the moment. A cold front has rolled in today.
