Morning run
In May, Charlie, Hannah, Milly and I are taking part in the Great Manchester Run in support of a charity that is run by one of Charlie's friends.
We settled on doing the 10k together, which is well within Hannah's capabilities, so she's decided to train up and see how fast she can do it. Part of the training plan involves doing distances greater than ten kilometres, so this morning she and I went out for a seven and a half mile run.
It was lovely. Not quite as glorious as the last few days have been, but there were patches of blue sky and it was an ideal running temperature. I took today's photo just after we'd crossed the bridge out of the Wetlands and into Kersal.
In the afternoon, I recorded the 400th edition of Electronic Ears for Cando FM. The first one was broadcast in November 2015, although I had previously recorded 93 for Indigo FM before it closed down.
And in the evening, the Minx and I went to see 'The Amateur', which wasn't particularly demanding - perfect for a Sunday night - and better than some of the snottier broadsheet reviews suggested.
We'd had half a plan to walk along to the Blues Kitchen afterwards, to catch one of Paolo's sets, but over the course of the film, I'd found myself coming down with a cold, so we headed home rather than risk spreading it.
