Splashing out

Today we've had a lovely lunch for K's birthday.  Well, perhaps I shouldn't say that because I cooked it, but I do mean not just the food but the conversation and laughter.  A fun time.

It followed, though, that I have had rather less time for blip than usual, but I did walk as far as the park, knowing that the moorhens have chicks now and hoping for shots of them.  I have to say they are the funniest little things and this one being splashed accidentally by one of the adults really amused me.

And now the washing up's been done but there is still a rather large amount of gooey chocolate cake in the kitchen and half a bottle of Prosecco Rose.  So that's supper sorted then ;))
