Day out in the city
Rain forecast so we left the key with the plumber and headed off to Chelmsford for the day. We walked up, via the shops and Cathedral to the station. Opposite was an old Quakers church that has been converted into a beautiful brewery and restaurant. We ordered a paddle of 1/3 beers to try. All crafted and very tasty.
Home for chilli. The rain had passed so we then went for a early evening walk to the Prom and a pint at the Queens Head.
We agreed that we had made the most of a dismal weather day.
